CHANGE A LIFE

CHANGE THE WORLD

Big Lake Community Food Shelf wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for our volunteers. They truly are the heart of the food shelf and our community. From unloading food trucks to helping clients select food – the hearts and hands of our volunteers do it all.

We are always looking for volunteers interested in making a difference to help at the food shelf. We offer onetime, seasonal, and year round opportunities for individuals, families, and small groups. For safety concerns, we ask that volunteers are at least 16 years of age (unless a parent/guardian will be volunteering at the same time). We love to instill the value of volunteering at a young age!
